These paper sculptures further explore themes of nurturing and belonging and are reminiscent of eggs and nests. The viewer is invited to look into these shapes and contemplate the intricate patterning that refers back to the papercuts in the Birdsong from Inside the Egg series.
These paper constructions, made with thin strips of paper and glue, are quite strong in their structure yet they have a delicate appearance.
