I am pleased to have been selected in the Mission to Seafarers Maritime Art Prize this year.

Artist's Statement:

My ocean papercuts are inspired by the powerful tides and dramatic shoreline found on the coast of the Victorian Southern Ocean (traditionally owned by the Eastern Marr people).

Climate change, rising sea levels and potential fossil fuel offshore mining threaten the beauty and ecology of this majestic biodiverse environment.

Artists Biography:

Roma uses single sheets of paper and a scalpel to create

her interconnecting images.

She won People’s Choice Award MPRG WOP 2020
